You're story is so powerful and you have a gift for writing and sharing these stories. You did not fail because you didn't give up. You can't Monday morning quarterback yourself when you're giving all your love and care. Aidan knows it and feels it. It's okay to not be okay but also remember to be a friend to yourself and don't judge yourself harshly as you would not do that to someone else. Keep being an amazing mom and advocate!

This one hits me in the gut. We went through something similar with my daughter, and it felt like it took forever to get the answer: she needed her wisdom teeth out. She was in pain. She was not okay — and I needed a village. Thank you for this space.
