These are real life stories of our lives. Things that happened for real but told in a way that captures just how awesome my little family is.
And a bit weird.
But mostly awesome.
Enjoy.
Once upon a time there lived a family in the great country of Narnia (basically Navasota, TX but potato, jello, right?!). The “head of household” (for tax purposes only), told the Mrs. that his metal chariot (his car) was broken. He decided he would walk to work each day as the family lived across the street from his place of employment. He did this for about a month.
Saving to fix a car that wouldn’t start takes some time, y’know?
The Mrs. finally decided to take a look at his metal chariot. She wondered if it was indeed broken. She holds no experience as a mechanic, but that ain’t stop her from rollin’ up her sleeves to open the front door…
After a free 6-minute assessment and surface level (meaning, if she could see it with her eyes, it got looked at, just stared at) diagnostic by the Mrs, she determined that the car was indeed not broken.
It just needed gas.
He let the poor thing starve. And it gave out on him.
The Mrs. decided to keep this information to herself for a week longer. Until it rained and guilt hit her harder than the hail that slammed her husband’s face on those walks home.
She told him his metal chariot wasn’t broken, just hungry.
He was thankful for his wife. Though he did not know that she didn’t tell him for a week. She kept this to herself for many years, and he still did not know
…now he does.
The End.
