Advance Reader Copy for all y'all
Read 'A Day with No Words' right now...I mean, seriously, RIGHT NOW!
Okay, friends. I have sent out the advance readers to several people, including patrons and those with paid subscriptions here.
This will be a repeat post for a lot of you, but for many of, it ain’t.
Let’s get after it, shall we?
It’s that time where we collect blurbs for press release. So ppl gotta read it, y’know?
My publisher is asking for the thoughts of any professionals, experts, researchers, influencers, etc. that can provide their thoughts on the book, willing to be part of a press release if necessary, willing to share the preorder link, and if they happen to know any other ppl I could share this with.
If you know anyone that fits the bill, please send them these questions for me:
1. Could you read my book, advance digital copy?
2. Could you provide a review of it, to be sent to my email: fidgetsandfries@gmail.com…to include, of course you name, credentials (they are looking to me to provide much of the expert/professional blurbs)?
3. Do you know of 2-3 more professionals, researchers, experts, influencers, etc. I could reach out to?
4. Could you share the preorder link?
Now, don’t go thinking that just because you aren’t considered a “professional,” or “expert,” or “influencer,” etc that you cannot share your thoughts. Oh my goodness, PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS! If you are a parent, you’re an expert, on your child, on yourself, you would know be able to speak to the bond that you are witnessing in this story. If you are a teacher, you are a professional. If you have a social media presence, period, you gonna be an influencer. And on and on.
Send me your thoughts. In email. In these comments. On Goodreads, if you have an account.
For all of you who now have the copy of it, please provide your own thoughts about it for your audiences. Please share the preorder link provided above if you want.
I am close to being a national bestseller, according to my publisher. I don’t friggin’ know. I just want this book in as many hands as I can get it. I feel it’s that important.
Okay, the moment you’ve all been reading for has no arrived, here’s the book:
I don't know why but this beautiful book made me cry. I guess I am just in that sort of mood today. The musical words, so much love enveloping it all, and its voice, so important.
I mentioned before in another post, but I would very much like to try to translate this for everyone here in Japan if you could somehow trust me to do that.
Wow! From the very 1st page Tiff! Our sleepless nights are felt and seen and expressed so lovingly, our exhaustion held so delicately and tells the reader, we can be patient even though we have no sleep, it speaks to the strength of our children Each page is an adventure and a teaching moment, with restful pauses that give the reader time to be transported into another space. And the page where Mama defends her child and holds on to her dignity simultaneously is just so powerful and necessary. Giving readers layered perspective and a coping technique. I loved following Aiden through his day and felt so protective of him, and even felt anxious for him on the page where he looked so small in the crowd of people and voices… and these illustrations!!! How beautiful!! The snails!!! This book has my whole heart
